ESET develops software solutions that deliver instant, comprehensive protection against evolving computer security threats. Goal of the company is to develop the best security solutions for home users and corporate customers and protect them from all known and new forms of threats.

Website ESET contains all necessary information about company's products. Products are divided into two categories: home and business solutions. Customer can easily try all products or make an order.

TYPO3 CMS with custom development modules

ESET.SK is based on CMS TYPO3 and contains mostly custom development modules. There were implemented 10 new extensions in the project, a new backend module, 14 new content elements and 22 custom plugins. The interesting functional properties of the project are:

• Automatic geoip redirection of new visitors
• Integration with other systems for automated update of product portfolio
• Optimization for the highest site speed, by google page rank speed is the homepage Page Speed Score: 97/100
• Automatic generation of new language versions, export and import of content for the purpose of translation
• Integrated system for the articles and blogs management
• Integrated system for notification of users which is able to target the users by several criteria, eg. OS, browser, country, language, the last viewed section, screen resolution ...
• Integrated management system for banners also with possibility to enter the same criteria
• Content inventory for managing the content on the page - editors can use the collection content boxes and link them to other pages and then change them all at once
• Sharing of articles or blogs to social networks (up to 14 networks with the possibility of extending to other networks)
• New tacking system using the Google Analytics, which offers the opportunity to enter several codes at one site and also allows the implementation of global and local tracking at once.
• Automatic generation of graphs from CSV with different options (chart type, color changes, size, font)
• Automatic rss generator
• Transcoder, videos and many more.
