Gymnázium Pavla Horova

Design solution for the website of Pavol Horov Secondary Grammar School in Michalovce, based on the TYPO3 CMS content management system.

The CMS system enables contents administration and adding of new information, as well as other necessary steps to update the site and the news in the site. Due to the need of fast notifications to students or teachers, this method of contents management is of a great benefit.

The website is divided down to several sections; the content is primarily summarised in the main menu horizontally under the site header, from which the next menu level rolls out using dropdown. The secondary menu is situated at the right side of the start page’s main content and contains two sections with links for more information about the school, and for questions or comments. The central part of the website brings latest news about the school.

A calendar of school events is situated under the secondary menu level, and further down is a special section for students containing notices, schedules and other information about their study.

Buttons for further links and information concerning cooperation with organisations or centres are also available.
