Mafstory

Project implementation for the successful Slovak TV series Mafstory, presenting simple online entertainment. The game consists of the user taking care for the members of the Molnár family after she/he has been registered.

This game resembles Tamagochi. The user can perform different actions with selected characters, which influence their health, happiness and money. The game has the form of a competition with winning points.

Client access and the public part are created in Flash, and backend access is programmed in PHP; the mutual communication is based o XML. Moreover, the communication between the modules is encrypted to ensure game security.

The server keeps records on the current state of the family, the history of performed actions and the list of actions, which can be modified throughout the game by means of a simple admin panel. Each of these actions is accompanied with a short witty animation.
